Project title:RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF WINE STABILIZATION WITH USAGE OF THE ELECTRODIALYSIS PROCESS
Project ID:TA01011239
Duration:01/2011 – 06/2013
Objectives:

The goal of the project is to create the portfolio of products in the field of membrane separation processes for the wine stabilization. Two processes are essential in the project – electrodialysis (ED) and cross-flow microfiltration (CF MF) of wine. The ED process assures the wine stability in terms of tartar precipitation. It is an alternative of the conventional process of the cold wine stabilisation. The process CF MF enables both removing turbidity from the wine and wine sterilization. The advantage of both membrane processes in the comparison with conventional processes of wine stabilization and filtration is to save time and operating costs. The part of the project is the designing and realization of pilot units with capacity 100 – 1000 litres per hour.
