|Project title:||Valorization and of high added value solutions in dairy industry using membrane and electromembrane processes “4 whey 2 dairy”|

The main objective of the project is to enhance the utilization of waste streams of dairy industry in dairy ingredients and food industry. Ingredients obtained from waste streams will be either in a form directly sold on commodity market or in a form of precursors for further processing. Improvement and enhancement of the knowledge about the integration of specific membrane and electromembrane processes and validation of technological schemes at pilot experiments will enable their application in food practice. Pilot test will also provide mass and energy balances of individual processes which will enable to specify economic benefits of given processes.
