Research of New Technology of Ultra-pure Water Based on Electrodeionization

The principle of the proposed project is the realization of basic and applied research of production of ultra-pure water by electrodeionization (EDI). The project includes material research of profiled heterogeneous ion-exchange membranes with structured surface, possibility of their preparation and subsequent usage in the EDI technology. The achievement of the set goals allowed designing and implementing knowledge for construction of combined technology of reverse osmosis and EDI for the production of ultra-pure water.
