About Us
The company MemBrain s.r.o. is a research organization, meeting conditions specified by valid Czech legislation and the Community framework for state aid for research and development and innovation (2006/C 323/01), which is demonstrated legislatively on the basis of its charter of foundation.
Even though the company MemBrain s.r.o. has been founded on 8 October 2008, its profile and references have more than ten years of history in the field of research. The history was related to the research team of the Division of Research and Development MEGA a.s. The development of these activities and enlarging scope of the resolved topics has led, logically enough, to transforming the Division of Research and Development of MEGA a.s. into a new company.
With our customers, partners and result users, we can cooperate on an innovative process in its full activity scope from the analysis and assessment of basic innovation needs through the preparation and resolution of research and development projects to the effective transfer of research results into industrial practice, including the phase of technology appraisal and cooperation in early commercialization of final products. This means innovative activities, including research and implementation of new materials, development of new laboratory methods, mathematical modelling and simulation of processes, innovations of existing or development of new technologies and products with a high added value. Our activities are mainly focused on membrane processes and technologies. We also emphasise the benefit and returnability of investments into innovative process and development of the membrane branch in the market. To prove the high quality of internal company processes, we have gained certificates ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009, ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005 a OHSAS 18001:2007 (certification authority TŰV SŰD Czech Nr. 3053 accredited by CAI).
Education services are systematically developed as well. Attention is paid also to intellectual property protection.
